Roman Costume Help
Here are some ideas to make a costume for our Ancient Roman Banquet.

Roman Men
Most men wore a tunic and a toga. Rich Patricians had nicer tunics and togas than regular Romans. Soldiers usually wore armor.

Roman Women
Most women wore a simple dress called a stola. Sometimes they wore a shawl or scarf called a palla. Rich noble women had nicer and fancier stolas and pallas than regular Roman women.

Tunics
A simple way to make a tunic is just to wear a big white t-shirt that goes to your knees. Wrap a belt around your middle and you're done! If you want some other ideas for making tunics, you can try these sites:

Stolas
A simple way to make a stola is to fold a sheet in half around you, pin it at the shoulders, and then pin up the sides. Wrap a belt around your waist and you're done! If you want some other ideas for making stolas, you can try these sites:

Togas
A simple way to make a toga is to get a plain colored bed-sheet and pin two corners in so the edges are rounded. Wrap it around your body and pin it at your shoulder. If you want some other ideas for making togas, you can try these sites:
